This Spring 2024, our guests have experienced the new immersive theme at Méridon: The Floral Brunch. For this new adventure, we wanted to highlight the floral splendor of the season. Nestled in vast gardens that blend harmoniously with the Chevreuse Valley, Château de Méridon offers an exceptional setting. A visit to this place promises a true escape, a breath of fresh air, and an enchanting interlude in your daily routine. To extend the experience into the château, our tent has been completely redecorated according to the new theme. Floral garlands hang from the chandeliers, and splendid vintage tableware decorates the table of honor, where each week you can sit and immortalize your day at the château.
The experience begins with immersive workshops that immediately captivate participants. Yoga sessions, led by our instructor Lucy, take place in the château’s fireplace room. When the sun doesn’t shine, a crackling fire adds warmth and ambiance to the serene setting. The harmonious movements and guided stretches offer a wellness break during the day. Simultaneously, floral workshops are held in the grand ballroom, offering stunning views of the gardens. Participants, guided by our floral art expert, learn to create beautiful compositions with seasonal flowers. Soft background music enriches the atmosphere with a touch of serenity.
At noon, participants can join the brunch held in the tent with a panoramic view of the gardens. From sweet treats to savory delights, each dish has been carefully prepared for the utmost enjoyment of our guests. Every bite was a celebration of spring flavors, featuring local and seasonal ingredients. Floral infusions, with notes of lavender and chamomile, accompanied this delicate feast, adding an extra touch of harmony with the floral theme.
During our recent brunches, we were delighted to welcome our first guests who immediately felt at home in our charming tent, enchanted to finally discover Château de Méridon. A musical arrival in the tent allows guests to serve themselves freely with drinks and food. While you enjoy your meal, you can choose to stroll through the gardens, while children can play in the lounges equipped with various games. Beautiful friendships have blossomed at the château during our brunches. On these days, château tours are organized. The governess and/or the owners of the estate narrate the entire history of the domain while guiding you through the château, including its lounges, ballroom, bedrooms, and tower. It’s always an opportunity to learn little historical secrets and surprising anecdotes about this heritage site.
